...this is...HOW TO

...got an e-mail today from 1/3 and since we talk in very weird ways, i wanted to close my e-mail with a hebrew phrase. so, as i begin to type in my google search bar "how to..." all these little suggestions came up and i found them to be interesting.

...i think it's interesting to see what some people don't know how to do, or what they'd like to accomplish. ("how to get rid of fruit flies" cracks me up...)
just fyi, these queries aren't part of my search history...just auto-generated search suggestions... ;)

...this is...RIDICULOUS

in my personal opinion, an education is an invaluable asset to offer children. especially in today's society, having a degree of higher education is becoming more and more desired by employers.

on 9/8, president obama plans to address students across the nation via the web, in a speech believed to be targeted at staying in school, focusing on their education, and looking forward to the future and so on and so forth. now, no schools are required to broadcast/show the president's speech, but are encouraged to do so.

HOWEVER, many conservatives/republicans/people afraid of change are criticizing obama comparing his planned address to those of the dictatorships in North Korea and past Iraq....ummm, REALLY? -->
read story hurr <--

if obama's going to talk about the importance of an education, because there are some parents who care more about their e class mercedes than what their child is studying in school, then let the man. why on earth be afraid if he slips his own politics in there? like students are really going to be able to comprehend his plan for withdrawing from the middle east, or his health care initiative...that's even IF he does that...hello!!!! he's not GW where he has the eloquence, competency, and vocabulary of a 3rd grader...ugh...really, all the republicans have been doing since obama's been sworn in is criticize EVERY single thing he does...if washington wants to get our nation out of the shit hole we're in, they're gonna have to stop bitching and moaning and work together...stop whining if the president gives a damn about kids...YOUR kids...america's FUTURE...what dumbasses...

...this is....3X5

twas uploading pictures from third thursday wiff KATLIN and i came across this old picture i took...

it reminds me of this line from john mayer's 3x5:
"it's strange, how clouds that look like mountains in the sky
are next to mountains anyway"

pause: think about that one...love it. the song is pretty much just about seeing things for yourself. you can see how beautiful the art from third thursday is on KATLIN's blog and if you have the chance (and i recommend you go cuz people 20-29 are free til september or something), you'll see how much more amazing the dude's artwork is in person...

it's like what i heard about fergie from my friends who went to bayfest...pictures don't really do her justice...she's a lot hotter in person....so go to tcm...and see how much hotter the art is in person...

...this is...UNBEARABLY HOT + HUMID

is it just me or is it kinda...yuckily hot today?
at home, doing my thing...feelin the heat...not liking it at all...
there's only one more "person" who has an even harder time tolerating the heat....LUCY

google weather you LLLLIIIIEEEEE!!!!! maybe not about the humidity, but about the temperature....LIES! see, lucy keeps it real....
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

cool ways to BEAT THE HEAT:
numero the first - plop in front of your fujitsu and flip on the food network (if you are
like me and have zero AC, stand in front of your freezer door and open and close for
15 seconds...repeat as needed)

suggestion dos - take a dip in the pool, run through the sprinklers, or set up the
slip-n-slide. if you're feeling extra adventurous, fill water balloons
with pudding or poi, let them chill, and game on...(thanks vicki ;) )

idea trois - head down to your nearest market and wreak havoc in the frozen food aisle

fourthly - shave ice. yessssss...
(maybe fro-yo for the healthier ones...)

p.s. - waiolas...not matsumotos...or aokis...waiola
....on waiola st...not the lame bakery on kapahulu...ugh

and

5ive - become a big shot like peter griffin so you can live like this:
season 4, episode 20

...this is...DREAMING WITH A BROKEN HEART

my way to start blogging...
last night i had probably what is one of the most AMAZING dreams of my life...i met
john mayer and we fell in love...ha ha! here's how it went down:

we met outside of a grocery store in japan...he signed the back of my watch, my compact mirror (the actual mirror part itself), and my bag...weird...so i freak out in total elation...run down the street screaming, and wake up.

after waking up, i went back to sleep and began part deux of the mayer merriment...
met him again outside of a coffee shop in nyc. we started talking, hit it off, and drove to san jose. upon our arrival, we decided to head up to sF in a minivan. on our way north, he dials a korean restaurant and we start yelling at them in japanese...and then i woke up again...this time i couldn't go back to sleep. FIN.
--------------------------------------------
i understand the oddity and randomness of my dream, but felt compelled to share it...ha ha!
when i woke up, it got me thinking..."with all my michael phelps calendars around my room, why on earth would i have a dream about john mayer?"...not that there's anything wrong with him.... then, i thought "why do we even have vivid dreams?"

personally, i just love john mayer...wanted to jump my tV when i saw him perform "Human Nature" at mJ's memorial service...i die...i die...

could dreams really be what our hearts desire...or are they just random fabrications of the subconscious...sans the scientific jargon...
